Future Prospects · Researcha in Panchagavya holds tremendous potential for development of cost effective treatment for common to chronic diseases. · The research may not yield patentable molecules and short term income generation and so looks unattractive to institutions / organisations opetating with only profit motive and not the well being of the common man in mind · Very rarely a single group of substances finds such wide applications and this is very much visible in case of Panchagavya.
What Needs to be Done? · A co-ordinated effort is needed, in which Public and Private Institutions will work together to achieve a common goal. · Networking of Institutions / Organisations / N.G.O.s working on the subject of Panchagavya. · Adequate Documentation (Photo, Video, Written) of Pre and Post case studies treated using Panchagavya. · Documentation of side effects, if any of Panchagavya treatment. · Work on preparing a Pharmacopoeia and Formulary for Panchagavya products. · Being in adequate quality control and Standardisation during the production of Panchagavya based products. · Clinical evaluation of the Traditional formulations and long term monitering for any side effects by a team of multidisciplinary group of Doctors.
Future What has been presented here is tip of the iceberg. We need to explore the subject further to relize its full potential.
